Sony NV-U92T is super slim

Sony's new NV-U92T portable navigation device is an extremely slim GPS navigation system, measuring a mere 2cm in depth. Features include a lovely 4.8" ultra-wide touchscreen display, gesture command support (just draw a house and it will be able to point you home), 2GB of internal memory with a Memory Stick slot for memory expansion options, a TMC receiver, and Position Plus technology that ensures accurate, uninterrupted routing despite having a temporary loss of GPS signal - definitely nifty feature to have when traveling under a bridge or between tall buildings. Pricing and availability details are still unknown.

Here are the main highlights of NV-U92T:

  • depth of just 20mm
  • ultra-wide 4.8-inch touch screen
  • linear display of route waypoints
  • Gesture Commands
  • Position Plus*
  • 2GB flash memory
  • Memory Stick Slot (yikes)
  • TMC receiver

*Position Plus: This technology ensures accurate, uninterrupted routing even when GPS signals are temporarily compromised. This can happen when a vehicle is travelling beneath a tunnel or bridge, between tall buildings or under trees with dense foliage that can obscure satellite signals. An acceleration sensor and pressure sensor interpret vehicle motion to assure more stable, reliable positioning information.

Final Year Thesis

As in the final semester of my studies in Electrical and Electronic Engineering, is only can be describe by a word BUSY, other than that, still BUSY.

I'm working with Active Analog Filter over different topologies. The project take me around 6 month to complete and now still got 1month plus to go.

Really headache for the practical works to do a lot of testing and also the long long thesis. God bless me for the wisdom and good heath!

This is our web page which is still under construction until I've done my thesis.
