• 快速浏览主席或首席执行长的声明Chairman and Managing Director’s Statement。仔细阅读最初和最后的两段。这将使您掌握该公司营运状况的要点。以同样方式阅读管理层论述和业务分析。

• 查看独立审计师 Audit Committee Report 是否认为公司的状况一切良好。

• 阅读财务报表 Financial Statements，并且查看是否:

1. 净盈利 Net Profit 是正数，它在上升还是在下降;

2. 营业额 Income/Revenue是在增长还是在下滑。

3. 营运现金流Cash Flow 经营运资金调整后，其现金流为正值还是负值;

4. 净负债额 Liabilities 是在上升还是在下降;

5. 股息 Dividend 是在增加还是在减少 (按净盈利的百分比计算)。

• 查看财务账目附注中每个部门的分类账，以确定各部门的销售和收入是在增长还是在下滑 Sector Income。

• 对于所有表现下滑的部门，要查看在论述中是否有解释或要求公司作出解释。

 不选亏损公司 Do not pick losing companies
 不选科技股 Do not pick Technology Stock
